I love hardware! I especially love free and cheap hardware that is off the cutting edge - Linux also loves generic, established, standards-following hardware and has a lot of support for it.

I use a lot of recovered electronics parts that would otherwise have ended up in a skip and then most probably in landfill. If there's something you need then it's possible I have it - just ask!
