Arnold Bowl
Arnold is my local skatepark - I get up there for an hour or so at least every couple of weeks. I usually skate on a Saturday or Sunday at about 8am when I'm usually alone but more recently there's been other old geezers joining me for the early dip!
Newly painted - TonyG films me taking a tour of the bowl - then I slam nicely...
Getting There
Hopefully this Google Map should allow you to get directions to the skatepark which resides in Arnot Hill Park, Arnold, Nottingham, NG5. Zoom in to see the concrete! Click on one of the little blue markers on the map and do "Get directions to here".
On entry to Arnot Hill Park you can drive all the way up to a small parking area that can be observed from the concrete! Drive past the main carpark on your right near the entrance, past the kiddies playground on your left (careful for the little 'uns crossing!) and follow the road up the hill to your left. At a fork in the road there's a carpark to your left near the big house but go right carry on uphill and you'll see a small parking area near the basketball courts. The concrete is just up the grass hill but you can take the path around to the left if you're patient enough!
